Dedicated to providing guitar instruction in a variety of styles, to guitar players around the world!
Dave Celentano is a graduate from Musician’s Institute (G.I.T.) and has been teaching guitar for over 30 years. Through his private lessons and group classes he’s helped thousands of guitarists further their skills and knowledge on the instrument. As an author, Dave has written over fifty guitar instruction and transcription books including best selling “Flying Fingers,” “Monster Scales and Modes,” and “Killer Pentatonics,” cds, dvds, and internet tutorials for Hal Leonard Corporation, Music Sales, Cherry Lane Music, Centerstream Publications, GuitarTricks.com, TrueFire.com, GuitarInstructor.com, and Star Licks.
Guitar Player magazine featured Dave in Mike Varney’s prestigious “Spotlight” column in May 1991.
More recently, Dave assisted rock guitar legend Michael Schenker (UFO and MSG) with his first instructional DVD “The Legendary Guitar of Michael Schenker” and wrote an instructional book on blues/rock guitarist Michael Bloomfield covering his style and transcriptions from some of his most popular songs.
Currently Dave is teaching song tutorials, artist stylistic lessons, and live online private lessons with GuitarTricks.com.
Dave has three solo cds: “Guitar Stew”, “Wicked Music Box”, and “Desert Storm” and one with the band Soul Core called “A New Day” which can by heard/purchased on iTunes, Spotify, CDBaby, and iHeart Radio.
